The Kids Time Centres are well established and have been providing quality early childhood care and education to the Ngaruawahia community for over 10 years.
Kids Time Early Learning Centre caters for children aged 3 months up to 3.5 years while Kids Time Kindergarten caters for children aged 3 to 5 years. Having the two Centres side by side enables Kids Time to provide an environment and programme specifically designed for each age group and stage of development.

Early Learning Centre
Kids Time Early Learning Centre is located at 3 Galileo Street in the heart of the Ngaruawahia township.
The Early Learning Centre has two separate buildings connected by a deck area. The Infants and Toddlers area caters for children aged 3 months to 2 years. The Preschool area caters for children aged 2 years up to 4 years.
The Early Learning Centre has a large park-like outdoor area for children to explore. The Infants and Toddlers room has a cosy homelike atmosphere perfect for nurturing your young child. The Preschool has a spacious indoor area divided into smaller learning areas for different activities designed to encourage learning through active exploration and play.
The Early Learning Centre is open from 7:30am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, and offers flexible hours to meet your individual needs. Kids Time Early Learning Centre is licensed for 44 children, including 24 children under the age of two.
Kindergarten
At age three children begin to transition to Kids Time Kindergarten, located adjacent to the Early Learning Centre at 76 Great South Road, Ngaruawahia (connected by a service lane).
The Kids Time Philosophy
The Kindergarten caters for children aged three to five years. It has a large indoor area separated into different learning areas and a large natural outdoor play area which encourages social play, active exploration, and development of gross motor skills.
Kids Time Kindergarten is open from 8.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, and offers morning, afternoon, and school hours sessions or flexible hours to meet your individual needs. Before and after hours care can be arranged with Kids Time Early Learning Centre.
The Kindergarten is licensed for 50 children over the age of two.
20 Free Hours
All 3 and 4 year old children in New Zealand are eligible to have up to 6 hours per day and 20 hours per week of fully funded childcare. Contact us today to take advantage of your 20 Free Hours
Free pick up and drop off service
We offer a free pick up and drop service in our Centre van for those children who would otherwise be unable to attend early childhood education. Seat allocation is subject to availability and will be reviewed every three months.
